Gibberd's portfolio

I’ve spent the week thumbing through files of yellowing papers and old photographs. Despite finding nothing that resembled an architect’s portfolio, I still hoped that the multiple files of correspondence and minutes of council meetings might contain some prints of architect’s drawings and a bit of discussion about the design. I found a couple of print outs from the architect’s practice, but nothing of interest to us. It was interesting to skim through the correspondence and follow the roller-coaster ride of public opinion and decision making about the planning of Didcot A. More about this will follow...

The brilliant news is that after making a few enquiries the file has turned up at the power station. We hope to look through this in the next couple of weeks and will post here about our finds.
