By the way we would like to say thank you to Will Wiles for giving us the inspiration for the title, 'Where clouds are made', which came from a twitter conversation with P.D. Smith back in November. Through the project we want to explore how the power plant and cooling towers have come to play an imaginative role in the sense of place for Didcot residents and beyond. It's nice that this is also literally true, as the cooling towers give off evaporated river water as steam.
